Goal count fails to match previous season
Goal scorer Francis Adjei rounds up AshantiGold's Joshua Otoo.

After recording ten goals on the opening day of the 2013-14 Ghana Premier League competition, there's been an upturn in numbers week after week.

The three-week old league has produced 35 goals so far. Match-day-2 had 12 goals with 15 goals recorded after the third week.

However, it fails to match the goal haul of 50 recorded after match-day-3 of the previous season.

The breakdown for the 2012-13 season: 1st week: 16 goals, 2nd week: 20 goals and 3rd week: 14 goals.
