Blackpool goalkeeper Richard Kingson has lauded the decision of younger brother Laryea Kingston to join local side Hearts of Oak after years of globetrotting.

Kingston joined the former African champions last month in a bid to revive his career for a move abroad this summer.

The 30 year-old has been inactive since his contract with Dutch side, Vitesse Arnhem was terminated in December 2010.

Kingson told Angel FM: "I think it’s the best of decisions he has taken out of many. He can’t stay idle while he has got more to offer especially to his beloved club."

“This is a decision we took collectively as a family and we all support it. My advice to him is he should concentrate and forget about what most Ghanaians will say that he is Old or unfit, this decision will help most of us to return home to re-launch our career and also improve the local league."
