Ex-Asante Kotoko midfielder Godwin Ablordey leads a 48-man list to appear before the Ghana FA's Player Status Committee to seek floating status .

Ablordey played for Ebusua Dwarfs last season and has not given up on his playing career.

He was linked with the team manager position at the club he captained from 2000-2003.

Ablordey is a veteran of the Ghana Premier League having also played for Hearts of Oak and King Faisal.

Also seeking to be cleared is midfielder Obed Ansah who last played for Hearts of Oak.

This marks the end of the 24-year-old's three-year stay with the 2000 African champions.

It also means the ex Heart of Lions player would be free to join rivals, Asante Kotoko who are reportedly interested in his services on a free transfer.

Goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy will be seeking clearance to feature for Wassaman this weekend when he also appears before the committee.
