General Manager of Great Olympics Oloboi Commodore has spelled out the cause of their inconsistent performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The Wonder Club have been erratic since returning to the Ghanaian top-flight league.

The Wonder Club are sitting just a point adrift of the relegation zone with 15 points, having collected three wins, drawing one and losing five game in the the campaign.

But the Accra-based club’s chief, Oloboi Commodore, says management are aware of the team’s shortcomings but they are working earnestly to improve it.

“I am not a technical man but I noticed that our defensive set is the problem. We will move ahead and follow the right direction,” Commodore stated on Happy FM.

“It is really surprising that Eleven Wonders beat us at home even though last week, we beat King Faisals away. It is really a shocking defeat but anyway, that’s why we are called the wonder club.”

Great Olympics, who lost 2-1 at home to Eleven Wonders in Week 9, will hope to quickly bounce back to winning ways when they play as guests to Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 10 on Saturday.
