Halmstads BK midfielder Thomas Boakye insists every game is important for them in the Swedish Superettan League

Halmstads BK midfielder Thomas Boakye says it is important to keep winning if the club wants to return to the top flight. 

The Ghanaian midfielder, a product of the Right to Dream Academy joined Halmstads in the summer but has already affirmed his stance of helping the team return to the top flight.

Boakye expressed excitement after joining the club indicating how important the club was for him.

"All in Halmstad has been a big part of my life since the first day I joined the club, which is fantastic!,"  he said.

With the Swedish Superattan already in session, the Ghanaian who was in action as the team defeated Dagerfors over the weekend insists every game is important to the club.

"We must understand that every match in Superettan is important, it was unfortunate that we lost to AFC Eskilstuna last week. But we learn from our mistakes and have to work hard and focus on the next game with the right attitude."
