Hasaacas declares GH¢5,295 as gate proceeds from Hearts of Oak friendly game

Ghana Division One side Sekondi Hasaacas pre-season friendly match against Hearts of Oak at the Sekondi Gyandu Park recorded GH¢5,295 as gross amount.

The Phobians proved to difficult an opponents for Hasaacas and deservedly won the encounter by 4-0.

Powerful forward Joseph Esso opened the scoring in the 20th minute by converting a spot-kick.

Fifteen minutes later, Kojo Obeng Junior doubled the lead after heading home from a rebound before youngster Manaf Umar fired past the keeper from a counter-attack just after the hour mark.

Kim Grant's side sealed the win on the 70th minute mark after Manaf soared to head home his second from a fine cross from the right.

Even though Sekondi Gyendu Park was almost-filled to capacity during the cagey encounter, Hasaacas recorded a shocking GHC 5,295 as gross from the gate proceeds.

For the first time in the history of Sekondi Hasaacas, GH¢10 and GH¢20 were charged as gate fees but astonishingly the home side recorded only GH¢5,295 in gross from the almost-filled Sekondi Gyendu Park.
