Hearts of Oak hierarchy denies snubbing fans over stakeholders meeting

Hearts of Oak's board of directors are ready to to meet and discuss issues bothering the club with aggrieved supporters.

The National Chapters Committee has given the board chairman and majority shareholder, Togbe Afede XIV, a seven-day ultimatum to convene an emergency stakeholders meeting to arrest the failing fortunes of the club.

They have also threatened to boycott their Ghana @ 60 anniversary return leg against Asante Kotoko on 24 December in Kumasi.

Speaking to the Graphic Sports, director of the club Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe refuted rumours that the board has snubbed meeting the fans.

He has urged the supporters’ ranks to maintain cools heads and come to the negotiating table because the board is ready to meet and iron out any differences.
