GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm that Hoffenheim have officially written to Tagoe's loan club, Partizan Belgrade demanding his release for the pre-season training tour of Austria and the Americas.

The 24-year-old was farmed out to Partizan in January after he was deemed as surplus to requirement.

Tagoe has netted six times in six matches for Partizan which has prompted Hoffenheim to request his return.

Tagoe is keen on staying at Partizan because of the regular  playing time and his unhappy his wish to stay would not be granted.

"Naturally I would have preferred to stay in Partizan but there is little I can do as I have a running contract with Hoffenheim," Tagoe is quoted by the 90 minutes newspaper.

Tagoe will miss the opportunity of the likelihood of playing in the Champions League as Partizan are tipped to win the Serbian top flight league.
