Ghanaian youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is a doubt for Chelsea’s clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

The 18-year-old is pushing for a regular role having featured in only four Premier League matches so far this season.

Chelsea are under pressure to keep Hudson-Odoi after receiving multiple bids from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

Hudson-Odoi will have just a year remaining on his contract at the end of the season and Chelsea are striving to convince the winger to remain at Stamford Bridge.

But the midfielder is unlikely to feature against the Premier League champions after he was unable to train this week due to illness.

‘Odoi had a fever but only for one day,’ said Maurizio Sarri. ‘Yesterday we had a little problem with [Gary] Cahill in his back, nothing serious. ‘I think every player will be available for this match. I hope so, I don’t know. ‘We have to do another two training sessions.’
