Kuala Lumpur: Casey Reibelt is confident of putting in a good performance in the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019.

The Australian shared her thoughts with the-AFC.com ahead of what she believes will be a highly challenging and exciting journey in France 2019.


Who is Casey Reibelt?

Casey Reibelt began her career in 2008 with the W-League and received her FIFA badge in 2014. The former AFC Project Future graduate is a two-time W-League Referee of the Year, an accolade she received in 2014 and 2018.

The Queensland native has overseen two AFC Women’s Asian Cups since 2014, the Algarve Cup as well as the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament 2016 qualifiers.

Has she officiated at the FIFA World Cup before?

Casey Reibelt is making her debut at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019. She officiated in the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

What does she have to say about her appointment?

"I feel incredibly proud to be selected to referee and to represent AFC. It is an opportunity of a lifetime, and a dream realised. We have dedicated many hours preparing for this moment, so I am really looking forward to it."
