Swedish topflight side IFK Göteborg have confirmed the transfer of Ghanaian midfielder Lawson Sabah on loan to FC Linköping City.
Sabah, who spent last season on loan at Linköping City has extended his stay after IFK Göteborg revealed he was not part of their plans for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Linköping manager Melke Alan disclosed they are happy to secure the services of the midfielder for another season.
"Our plan is absolutely to keep him (Sabah). He wants to remain and we have a good dialogue with both him, the agent and IFK Gothenburg. They think it is a good environment for him and we are happy to have Lawson with us and be a part of his development,"
IFK Göteborg believe another season with Linköping in the Superettan will give him the requisite match fitness.
Last season, Sabah scored one goal in 27 league appearances for Linköping.
