Ghana and Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah is among six players shortlisted for the PFA Championship fans' award for November.

The 29-year-old has been nominated for the coveted award thanks to his blistering form for the Villans during the month.

Adomah will fight against Derby County striker Matej Vydra and Leon Clarke of Sheffield United for the monthly gong.

He will also face competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers' trio Willy Boly, Ivan Cavaleiro and Barry Douglas who have also been shortlisted.

Adomah was arguably the Villans best player during the month of November as he netted five goals for Steve Bruce's side in their promotion push.

The 29-year-old Ghana international five goals in three games, taking his total for the season to 11 - making him one of the top stars of the second tier competition.

Adomah scored twice against Queens Park Rangers and Ipswich Town and before hitting the net in the match against Sunderland.

The winner of the award will be announced this week and Adomah has been tipped to clinch it thanks to his scoring record last month.

 

Adomah's top form will be of interest to Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah who is seeking to rebuild his squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
