Inter interested in midfielder dubbed the Brazilian Pogba

Published on: 08 April 2016

Inter are believed to be monitoring Gremio midfielder Walace, who is considered by many in Brazil as their own Paul Pogba.

Walace is a name that should not be alien to observers of Italian football with the midfielder previously attracting interest from the likes of Napoli and Fiorentina.

However, according to Calciomercato.com, the Nerazzurri are the latest Italian club to register serious interest in the 21-year-old.

Il Biscione have been scouting Walace over the last few months and are believed to have already held preliminary talks with the player’s entourage.

Yet, Inter will have to beat off interest from several major clubs from around Europe, with Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Sevilla and Valencia all believed to be keen on signing Walace.

Furthermore, to secure the future of the ‘Brazilian Pogba’ the Nerazzurri will have to offer around €10 million for the midfielder who is thought to be keen on making the move to Europe this summer.
