Jeremiah Rudolf Boakye, son of former Ghanaian Sprinter Gad Boakye, last Sunday came on as a substitute for Sassuolo to score against Lazio in Italy’s U16 division.

The attacking winger was brought on in the 70minute to ease the pressure on the Sassuolo and take advantage of the dismissal of Lazio.

Boakye’s pace and trickery on the flanks was essential for the Neroverdi as he scored in the 81st min to extend their lead.

His teammate and compatriot Justin Kumi had earlier given Sassuolo the lead in the first half. This is his second goal of the season.

The 16 year-old had to endure a delayed to the start of his campaign season, after injury interrupted his preparation.
