Joye Boye’s presence at FC Metz has forced defender Vahid Selimovic to leave the Ligue 2.
Boye remains the first choice of coach Frédéric Antonetti and that left Selimovic with no chance of playing.
Selimovic has since joined Cypriot side Apollon Limassol.
The Luxembourg defender played 13 games for the side in their campaign in the Ligue 1 last season.
