WAFA SC teenager John Tedeku played his first Ghana League Premier match on Sunday in the 1-0 win over Karela United FC.
The 17-year-old was handed a starting role as left back and he played like a seasoned professional.
Tedeku was promoted to the First Team after distinguishing himself with the academy's U16 side.
He made his experience of playing in several youth tournaments counts.
Tedeku is expected to retain his place in the starting line-up on Sunday when the academy boys entertain Ebusua Dwarfs in their first home match.
