Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic insists he has never seriously considered leaving Juventus, despite being heavily linked with a possible exit.

The 29-year-old, who has been with the Bianconeri for just over three years, has been linked with possible interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, but Pjanic says his focus remains solely on his career in Turn.

I'm very happy in Turin, I have fantastic players around me.

He told the Italian media: "I never thought about leaving Juventus. I had an incredible relationship with (former coach) Max Allegri and we laughed about the speculation.

"I'm very happy in Turin, I have fantastic players around me. I want to get even better and I want to help my new team-mates.

"My dream is to win the Champions League, this year and all the other years I'll be here."

Meanwhile, Juve central defender Leonardo Bonucci has vowed to improve on his performances during his first season back with the club, having left to join AC Milan in the summer of 2017.

He told the official Juve website: "I want to get back to being the player I was two years ago, because I know that I could've certainly done better over the last couple of campaigns.

"I want to get back to the old standards that the fans had become accustomed to."

Juve won the Serie A title for the eighth season in a row last term, but were denied in their quest for Champions League glory as they were dumped out of the competition at the quarter-final stage by Ajax.

La Vecchia Signora are 4/9 to be crowned Italian champions again next season, while they are 9/1 to win the Champions League for the first time since 1996.
