South African giants Kaizer Chiefs are preparing to make a bid for Ghana Premier League leading scorer Stephen Sarfo.

According to a report by KickOff.com, former Chiefs assistant coach John Paintsil is playing a role in sending the current 13-goal striker to Naturena before the end of the year.

Sarfo has been on the radar of Amakhosi for several months.

Sarfo, who plays for Berekum Chelsea, shone at the recently held WAFU Cup of Nations where he emerged top scorer with four goals.

Chiefs coach Steve Komphela has already hinted his interest in a striker who was at the WAFU Nations Cup.
