The brother of the late Chief Executive Officer of Karela United, Ebenezer Whyte has debunked rumors circulating that the Ghana Premier League side is up for sale.

After the passing of the late Senator Brigidi who was the CEO and bankroller of the club there have been news emanating from the club which  indicates the club is struggling financially.

Meanwhile, our sources  indicates that the team is willingly to work with investors interested in the club and not sell it entirely.

"We are not ready and will never be ready to sell this club, we are doing our best to protect the good image of this club as well as the legacy left behind by my brother," Whyte stated.

"The family both in Ghana and Nigeria have held several meetings regarding the club so we are not selling this club, our doors are open to any investor but not to sell this prestigious brand which is very special to the people of the land."
