Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng put up an imperious display to score a stunning second-half hat-trick to help AC Milan beat Lecce 4-3 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.

The 24-year-old came off the bench to draw Milan level after the Rossoneris conceded three goals in the first half.

Goals from Massimo Oddo, Guillermo Giacomazzi and Carlos Grossmüller put Lecce ahead.

Boateng blasted home a screaming drive from inside of the Lecce penalty area just four minutes after replacing Brazilian star Robinho and further cut the deficit to 3-2 with a 25 yards thunderous effort on 55 minutes.

Lecce goalkeeper Massimiliano Benassi failed to stop another powerful shot from the former Portsmouth star on the 63rd minute.

Milan piled the pressure and eventually sealed the victory through Mario Yepes who directed a strong header home from an Antonio Cassano cross.

Boateng scored a stunning goal in midweek when AC Milan beat Bate Borisov 2-0 at the San Siro in the Uefa Champions League.

Honestly, it is hard to celebrate any success with PKB right now bcos We don't feel him very much as part of us(ghanaians) don't misunderstand me. i'm not saying we don't consider him as a ghanaian but we need to see more of him in order to identify confortably with him. Anyone agrees with me?

I couldn't believe my eyes when the second one got in, then the third from the right side of the pole after few milan players have moved from the offside position. First one was a beauty from his left foot. Second was even nicer with his right. And he did all that withing 14 minutes. Ayew also had a good game yesterday. This is a good sign because our strongest asset is our midfield. So if we build our attack around these two, we will be very formidable. Think: ---------------Gyan Andre Ayew---------------Fast player ------K Asamoah-----K P Boateng --------M Essien/ A Badu Greetings, Al

Yes, you are so right. We have to see him do the same for the Blackstars on the African continent in African soccer tournaments before we can be comfortable with him. He performs over the top for his club and during the world-cup, but a dismal failure when it came to African tournaments on African soil. I am also curious with his relationship with his fellow Blackstars players, most of which are African born, whether he has any communications/brotherly love for them or feels any superiority over them, like most oversees born behave. Just curious. USA

Stop condeming others who kept the ship flooting. Without them B* would not attrack anybody to change nationality. Everybody is welcome on board the flooting ship but we need their meximum effort.

Hat-trick in about 20mins. I had a funny feeling he was going to put in 3 goals. His first 3 shots were saved and deflected out but the next three were super. Am sure if Yepes had not headed in the last goal he would have cos he was right there! Kudos. Anyways, why did Allegri keep him on the bench? Man u 1 : Man city 6 QPR 1: Chelsea 0 All Die be .........!

No our midfield should look like this: ————— Jordan ———— Gyan ————— Dede————— K P Boateng ——K Asamoah—–— A Badu————— Our Udinese duo on the central defensive part, because they play togehter all the time. The attack comprises our best striker Gyan plus Jordan. J Ayew is in good shape and he links up well with his brother. Then we have our most deadly players Dede and KPB on the wings. Greetings Joseph
