Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been named in AC Milan's starting line-up to play Barcelona on Tuesday night in the Uefa Champions League.

The 24-year-old was a major doubt after suffering a shoulder injury last Friday during the Serie A opener against Lazio.

Boateng will play as one of Max Allegri's three-men upfront for the tie at the Camp Nou alongside Pato and Cassano.

The former German youth international is playing in his second season of the prestigious club competition.
