Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp would like to see Lazio win the Scudetto. “We have an ex-player in the title race in Lucas Leiva.”
Klopp was speaking to Rai Sport and was asked about who he believes will win the Scudetto this season between Juventus and Inter, but instead he opted for the Biancocelesti.
“I am cheering for Lazio to win the title. We have a former Liverpool player in the title race, that is Lucas Leiva,” Klopp told Rai.
“Ciro Immobile was also one of my players at Borussia Dortmund.
“I’m sorry for Maurizio Sarri and Antonio Conte, but I think Lazio will be a great surprise.
“They are having an incredible season.”
Klopp recently tipped Juventus to win the Champions League this season.
