Coach Maxwell Konadu is yet to set a definite target though recognizing the ultimate will be to win trophies with Asante Kotoko.
The ex Wa All Stars coach was brought in as replacement for Bogdan Korack whose contract with the Kumasi-based club was mutually terminated during the offseason.
It is however not clear, at least to the media what management is expecting of the 38-year-old former Ghana international.
And with many believing reclaiming the league title this season following impressive displays so far of the team, Konadu was however quick to water down this expectation though conceding it will be a great achievement.
ââ¬ÅThese big clubs always want to win the league, they want to win cups and that is what we are working towards,â⬠he told Accra-based Choice FM.
ââ¬ÅHowever it is not easy achieving this, it cannot be realized overnight and therefore we are doing our best to achieve this.
ââ¬ÅIf along the line we win trophies, that is fine but if we donââ¬â¢t it doesnââ¬â¢t mean all is lost.ââ¬
Kotoko is the most successful club in the Premier League winning it 21 times but have been unable to do so since 2007, the last time they were crowned league champions.
