Kotoko coach Konadu banking on team effort for Liberty win

Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu is counting on his entire team to overcome Liberty Professionals in the Premier League game on Sunday.

The Premier League leaders have ex Liberty captain Michael Helegbe in their fold ahead of the weekend clash.

A lot will be expected of the former national U-23 captain against his former side but Konadu insists it will be a team effort.

"We don't site individual players to win games for us but rather a team effort," he said.

"As usual anyone who is fit and ready for the game will be motivated to play and not only him (Helegbe).

Konadu is also adamant his side is well poised to extend their winning streak in the second round following their hard fought 1-0 win away to Medeama last weekend.

"Kotoko is ready and well prepared and we will be at our best to ensure we hopefully win on Sunday."
