Maxwell Baakoh is not scared of the exploits of Kariobangi Stars in the Confederation Cup as he insists Asante Kotoko will eliminate the Kenyan's from the competition.
The new acquisition tells asantekotokosc.com he has watched clips of the preliminary round opponent and feels strongly that the Porcupine Warriors have the quality to edge them out after the two legs.
Having earned a walkover in the first preliminary round, Asante Kotoko now take on a Kariobangi Sharks side who impressed in the first round by edging out Djibouti's Alter Solar by 9-2 on aggregate.
Speaking of Asante Kotoko's chances Baakoh said: "Kariobangi Sharks? They don't scare us. No. We will eliminate them. I have watched videos of four of their recent matches and saw that we have what it takes to eliminate them."
"I observed them closely and they are not as solid as is being portrayed by their results against Alter Solar. With the right approach, we can even beat them in both legs."
