Kotoko not yet champions- Aduana Stars coach

Aduana Stars coach Cioaba Aristica has told leaders Asante Kotoko to wait until the last match to declare themselves league winners.

Kotoko are on the verge of winning their 22nd title as they hold a ten point lead with nine matches remaining.

Aristica, whose side are 12 points behind the leaders in third place, is refusing to give up.

The Romanian told Sunyani-based Storm FM: "Mathematically you can say that Kotoko are the team to carry the league but in football anything is going to happen."

"We have nine matches left and there are a lot of points so you cannot say they have won it when they (Kotoko) can lose to some teams and also reduce the points for others to take the top." he added.

"As for Aduana we are still playing and winning home or away and until the last game we believe anything can come so let's wait. It's football."

Aduana Stars, 2010 champions, face Hearts of Oak at home on Sunday.
