Asante Kotoko will play second-tier Dunkwa United in a friendly game on Wednesday in Kumasi as the club shape up ahead of this weekend’ tricky league game.

Head coach Maxwell Konadu will field fringe players as he tests his the depth of his squad to help him win the club’s 22nd league title.

Former assistant coach of the Prince ‘Sabuto’ Acheampong will be keen to teach his former employers a lesson when he guides the Dunkwa-based side.

The Porcupine Warriors have used such mid-week friendly games to trim their rough edges ahead of weekend’s Premier League matches.

The Kumasi-based side has a difficult task on Sunday when they travel as guest of Berekum Arsenals at the Golden City Park.
