Kotoko striker Fredrick Boateng's move to Egyptian side Petrojet falls through

Striker Fredrick Boateng's move from Asante Kotoko to Egyptian side Petrojet broke down after failing to complete paper works on time.

The striker was expected to leave Ghana for Egypt on Monday but the Porcupine Warriors and Petrojet failed to reach an agreement despite the player agreeing terms with the club.

The former Inter Allies striker is in Kumasi currently and has started training with Kotoko ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup game with Zesco United next week Wednesday.

The 25-year old  joined Kotoko from Inter Allies last season and despite a great start, he has now fallen behind the pecking Sogne Yacouba and Fatawu Safiu.

Boateng previously played for Ethiopian side Welwalo Adigrat and Ebusua Dwarfs.
