Asante Kotoko striker Mustapha Mumuni joined his teammates in camp on Tuesday after recovering from an ankle injury, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Mumuni joined Kotoko during the off-season from Bechem United and was doing so well during pre-season until he sustained the injury three-weeks ago.

The new recruit's return couldn't have been better timed as the Porcupine Warriors conclude preparations in Adukrom to launch a massive assault on the Premier League which starts on Sunday.

"We are haapy to see him return to the club because he showed a lot of promise before getting injured," the club's Public and Supporters Relations manager, Listowell Bukarson told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"He is definitely a welcome addition to the squad and the striking role in particular and we wish him all the best."

It now brings the number of strikers in the Fabulous camp to four in anticipation of the return of fellow new signing Ben Acheampong who is still some time away from making his return.
