Ghana midfielder Bernard Yao Kumordzi says he is satisfied with his performance on his French Ligue 1 debut for Dijon on Saturday.

The 26-year-old, who joined Dijon from Greek Super League side Panionios this month, lasted the entire period in his side's 3-1 triumph over newcomers Evian Thonon Gaillard.

Kumordzi lubricated the midfield with depth touches and defence splitting passes and gave his side the upper hand from the middle.

However, he was booked on the half hour mark.

He told GHANAsoccernet.com is thrilled with his output for his new club.

"I feel happy and great. In the two games that I have played so far, things have gone well for me. I hope to keep playing and help this club finish in a respectable position in the league."

Kumordzi was also in full praise of Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed who featured for Evian TG.

"He was in good shape. He is a very good midfielder."

Kumordzi made his official debut for Dijon in the mid-week's exit in the Coupe de France.
