Published on: 25 February 2016

Real Madrid go head to head with Atlético Madrid on Saturday and Cristiano Ronaldo talked about the game in an interview with Spanish brewers 'Mahou': It's an important game, at home, in front of our fans and against a tough side who defend well. It's a game that we have to win". "We know that the title is a long shot but we have to fight until the end. I hope it's a great game on Saturday and Real Madrid get to win it", said CR7.

On pressure: "Playing at the biggest club in the world has its good things, but obviously its bad things too. There's a lot of pressure at the club, but I've been here for years and am used to it. The size of the club makes people look at us differently. That said, on balance, I'm really happy and want to be at this club".

On the league title: "The Bernabéu faithful are always excited to win the Champions League. We got the chance to do just that two years ago and it was amazing for both the players and the fans, but I have to highlight other titles which were important to me as well as other positive things of a more personal nature. I'm really proud of my years at Real Madrid".

On the best footballer: "I always thought about coming here and proving I was the best. I try year upon year, not just with silverware, but also with my goals and performances. Slowly but surely I'm leaving my mark wherever I go. It's always positive to know that the fans back you. I'm proud whenever people chant my name".
