LAFC star Latif Blessing seeks revenge ahead of Real Salt Lake clash in MLS

Ghanaian winger Latif Blessing is seeking revenge when LAFC face Real Salt Lake in the MLS on Saturday after the same opponents ended their dreams in last year's play-offs.

Last season, Real Salt Lake beat LAFC 3-2 to end their hopes of progressing in the Western Conference play-offs in the MLS.

Blessing, who joined the then expansion team last year has been influential for the club and ahead of Saturday's clash, the petit winger is confident of victory and has even predicted the scoreline for the game.

“It’s payback, payback time, you know? These guys just ended our dream,” Blessing said after training Thursday. “It’s payback time.”

“Saturday, we’re going to beat them. We’re going to beat them five goals to one,” he said. “We’re going to do the same thing [we did] at their stadium. We’re going to do the thing here. It’s payback time.”

The confident Latif Blessing has the names of the scorers at the Banc of California in match day 4.

“Carlos will score first, then score second, I’ll score third, then (Adama Diamonde) will score the fourth and last goal, I don’t have any idea, but I know we’ll score the last goal,” said Blessing.
