Ghana defender Lee Addy scored his debut goal for  Dalian Aerbin in their 2-0 win over Shenyang Shenbei Â to advance to the quarter-finals of the Chinese FA Cup on Wednesday.

The Ghanaian international silenced his critics with the opening goal in the 31st minute before his colleague made sure of the win at the Jinzhou stadium in Dalian.

Speculations had been rifed that the Black Stars versatile defender was on the verge of being offloaded last week to make way for ex-Barcelona star Seidu Keita.

And the former Berekum Chelsea left-full back who has featured prominently for the Chinese Super League side this season responded to the claims with the nice effort.

He will be instrumental for Ghana ahead of the 2013 African Cup of Nations final qualifier against Malawi in September and October.
