Asante Kotoko defender Awal Mohammed has been strongly linked with a move to Polish giants Legia Warsaw.

The lanky centre-back is believed to have impressed scouts of the Eastern European side and are considering him this summer.

Mohammed joined Kotoko from second-tier Gomoa Fetteh Feyernord last season and has since impressed at the heart of defence.

If he impresses on trial, he will sign a long-term deal with the club and reunite with former team-mate Albert Bruce who has inked a three-year deal with the club.
