Liverpool rocked by Alexander-Arnold injury, can't recall Clyne from Bournemouth - sources

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says his side are not the Harlem Globetrotters, and must get results as well as show good performances.

Liverpool have been dealt a huge blow as Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to be sidelined for a number of weeks because of a knee injury, with the club unable to recall Nathaniel Clyne from his loan at Bournemouth, sources have told ESPN FC.

Alexander-Arnold injured himself during the warm up ahead of Liverpool's 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, but managed to complete the game.

Clyne, meanwhile, joined Bournemouth until the end of the season on Jan. 4, leaving Alexander-Arnold as Liverpool's only recognised right-back, with Joe Gomez still sidelined with the lower leg fracture he suffered in December.
