WAFA kid Majeed Ashimeru ruled out of Kotoko clash

WAFA coach John Killa will have to make do without the services of Majeed Ashimeru in Saturday's league opener against Kotoko due to an ankle injury.

The creative midfielder failed to recover from an ankle injury he picked up during a first leg pre-season friendly against Togo’s home-based national team in Lome two weeks ago.

Ashimeru sat out the last three warm-up games for the academy side.

He returned to training on Friday but could not complete the entire training session.

The 18-year-old was one of the high performing teenagers in the Ghana Premier League last season.
