Ghana forward Abdul Majeed Waris is up for Nantes best player in their Cup game against Rennes.
The 27-year-old found the back of the net but his side suffered a 2-1 defeat to exit the Coupe de la Ligue.
Waris together with teammates Ciprian Tatarusanu, Lucas Lima and Valentin Rongier were the outstanding players for Nantes in the game.
The striker has now scored two goals for Nantes this season.
He has recovered from the injury that has kept him on the sidelines in the recent days.
Despite his lack of goals this season, Waris has been hugely instrumental in the club successes after setting up several goals that ensure victory for the side in the top-flight.
