Manchester City chiefs fear losing their best U16 players.

The Daily Mail says a clutch of the club's most talented Under 16s are stalling on signing contracts, concerned their route to senior football will be hampered by the impending Galactico era.

Pep Guardiola will be handed a huge transfer kitty when he arrives from Bayern Munich in the summer with some of world football's most high-profile stars on his wanted list.

The club's transfer plans are not going unnoticed by the club's starlets, who are concerned their chances of first-team football will be non-existent under Guardiola.

City's U16s are regarded as one of the most promising to emerge from the club's academy in recent years. It would come as a massive setback to City if they were to lose any of their best youngsters.
