Man City winger Navas calls on favour from Sevilla

Jesus Navas has urged former club Sevilla to get the job done against Juventus in the Champions League.

With Manchester City losing to the Italian giants on Wednesday night, their hopes of finishing top of Group D took a hit as they fell to second place in the standings.

In the final group stage fixtures on December 8, City require a win over Borussia Monchengladbach at home and hope that Sevilla can defeat Juventus in Spain so they can clinch top spot and avoid a showdown with one of Europe's premium clubs in the Round of 16.

Of that scenario, Navas said: "It is a very difficult game that Juventus must play away, as Sevilla need to win that game if they want to continue in the Europa League.

"So, it is one game more and the group is not finished. I hope that Sevilla will win this game and we beat Borussia to finish at the top of the group.

"I hope our team will continue and have a little bit more luck in the round of 16."
