WAFA earned their first away point of the season following an impressive 1-1  stalemate against All Stars in WA on Wednesday.

All Stars blew the opportunity to move to the summit of the Ghana Premier league table as they relinquished a lead to share the spoils with Academy boys.

Striker Emmanuel Ocran's penalty goal was cancelled out by late first half Komlan Agbegniandan equaliser.

All Stars fetched the first goal in the 11th minute as forward Emmanuel Ocran coolly converted from the penalty spot.

The Academy boys after failing behind, upped their game and were rewarded with a goal six minutes to recess.

New signing Komlan Agbegniandan picked his spot well to register his debut goal in the top-flight as well as level the score.

The WA-based club huffed and puffed for the winning goal in the second but could not break a resolute WAFA defence down.

All Stars have dropped to third position with WAFA moving to ninth.
