Medeama Executive Vice President Albert Commey has told GHANAsoccernet.com negotaions on possible recruits are ongoing away from the media glare.

Head coach Bashir Hayford is working behind the scenes to bolster his squad with the addition of top-notch players to aid his campaign next term.

No big name has arrived yet at Tarkwa as speculations continue to mount on the future some of their key players including Seth Owusu, Hans Kwoffie and Louis Agyemang.

Despite intense media speculation, the Mauves and Yellows will continue to conduct negotaions in private as they eye the Premier League crown next season.

“We are working assiduously behind the scenes and hopefully our fans will get to know where we have gotten to as far recruitment is concerned,” Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We don’t want to be drawn into the media speculation on which players we have targeted or have started negotiations with,”

“We will surely keep a host of our players but definitely we will look at some of the positions and look at  the posibilty of recruitemt some seasoned players to aid our campaign next season,”

“We started last season slowly and that is what we want to avoid this year,”

The Tarkwa-based club have the financial war chest to bulldoze their way through the transfer market.
