FC Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has taken advantage of the rest days given by Quique Setien to the squad to head to Dubai in the UAE.
Messi has long planned to be there to be the ambassador at the Expo 2020 which is in the city between October 2020 and April 10, 2021.
Messi has filmed some videos to promote the event already. He will be back in the Catalan capital when Barcelona next train, on Tuesday at 6pm, to prepare for the clash with Eibar on Saturday.
The forward has six assists in his last three games for Barcelona, but, curiously, no goals.
