Mihajlovic: Frosinone will not make things easy for AC Milan

AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has targeted three points against Frosinone in Serie A on Sunday evening before the winter break commences.

The 46-year-old wants to finish the year on a high with the Rossoneri after a chequered start to his tenure as Milan boss.

“Tomorrow will be important for morale and for the table,” Mihajlovic told reporters during his pre-match press conference.

“We have to continue the streak. We have had a difficult campaign, which I was anticipating, though I did expect us to have a few more points.

“After the defeat to Napoli we bounced back well and only lost once, in Turin to Juve. This team has room for improvement though.”

The former Sampdoria coach is expecting a tough test for his squad against the Canarini at the Stadio Matusa.

“If anyone thinks that this will be an easy game then they’re mistaken,” he said.

“Frosinone have earned 13 of their 14 points at home and will be tough to beat.

“I have told the players that they should not think about the holidays yet, there will be time for that afterwards.”
