Ghanaian striker John Antwi is facing suspension after being sent off in Misr Lel-Makkasa's 1-0 defeat to Zamalek in an Egyptian Premier League game on Wednesday. 

At the post-match press conference, coach Talaat Youssef revealed the 26-year-old will be punished for the costly red card.

Antwi was dismissed for a dangerous tackle in the 90th minute, at a time his side were pushing for the all-important equaliser.

Build-up ahead of the match was centered around their Ghanaian hitman but he looked frustrated throughout the match before his unfortunate sending off.

Zamalek secured the three points courtesy Kabongo Kasongo's 6th minute strike.

Antwi finished last term as the second best scorer in the league with 16 goals in 26 appearances.

Misr Lel-Makkasa sit the 12th position with three points while Zamalek sits 5th with four points.
