This past weekend saw the continuation of the Santander Adrenalyn Challenge by LaLiga eSports, one of the major electronic sports initiatives launched by LaLiga, with the third qualifying competition being played out on the Arena GG platform.

The big prize on the line was a place in the final phase, which will be held at Gamergy 2018. It was PrimoDeFer who claimed the spoils, making smooth progress through the rounds and then recording a 2-0 aggregate victory over ElFerPincel in the final. Bavidi took the last spot on the podium, defeating Atnis by the same scoreline in the third-place playoff.

The fourth tournament will be staged this coming weekend, on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April. These qualifying events will continue every Saturday until 19 May, when the online phase's eighth and final tournament will begin, and the eight winners will go through to the final phase, to be contested at Gamergy between 22 and 24 June.

At Gamergy, Spain's biggest eSports and gaming festival, eight in-person open tournaments will be played to determine the gamers who will face off against the champions from the online phase. This final field of 16 will compete against one another in a gripping final that will take place during the event.
