Muntari expects to be fit for Nations Cup

Injured Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari says he will be fit to play for the Black Stars at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

The AC Milan midfielder, who suffered the injury earlier this month, has been ruled out of action for six months by doctors of the Serie A side.

This means he will return to action in January and might not be fully fit to play for Ghana at the tournament.

But the loyal Ghana player says he will return to action before the end of the year, which means he should be fit to play for the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations.

"If I’ll be out for 6 months? No, I will definitely return in 2012," Muntari said.

The player hurt his anterior cruciate ligament while playing with friends during his holidays in Ghana last month.

His presence in the squad will be a massive boost for the Black Stars at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
