Muntari in trouble for wearing Inter shinpads

Ghana and AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari courted controversy in Italy on Saturday as he donned his Inter Milan shinpads.

Trouble is he now plays for AC Milan their bitterest city rivals.

The former Portsmouth powerhouse sparked controversy as his ultimate faux pas was captured by Italian TV.

The picture revealed that a pair of Inter shinguards had been seen below his black Milan socks.

Muntari was a member of Jose Mourinho’s all-conquering Inter before switching to their cross-town rivals last season.

The Ghanaian remains an employee of the Nerazzurri despite being on loan to their rivals for the remainder of the current season.

His blunder capped a miserable week for Milan, who were knocked off the top of Serie A after losing at home to Fiorentina just days after crashing out of the Champions League at Barcelona.
