Sulley Muntari will complete a ã6million switch to Sunderland at the end of the season.
Reports in the English media say the Ghana midfielder will seal the permanent after impressing in his three-month stint at the Black Cats.
He arrived on loan from Inter Milan in January and has impressed Steve Bruce to the point the Black Cats boss is ready to take up the option of a permanent deal.
He has Ãsettled well on Wearside thanks to fellow Ghanaians Asamoah Gyan and John Mensah and is happy to remain in England.
Muntari, 26, has been keen to get away from Inter after Ãgrowing increasingly frustrated by life on the San Siro bench.
Mensah, who is enjoying a Ãsecond season on loan at the Stadium of Light from Lyon, is also expected to land a Ãpermanant offer from Sunderland in the summer.
