Nat Asamoah tips Kotoko to win league

Red Star Belgrade striker Nathaniel Asamoah is confident Asante Kotoko will win this season's Premier League.

Kotoko's 11 victories is more than any other club in the top flight and have tasted only two defeats in 18 matches.

Asamoah netted six times for the Porcupine Warriors before joining the Eastern European side on a four-year deal in January.

The 22-year-old believes his former side have the credentials to win a record 22nd league title.

"I think my leaving there will not affect the team in any way because just like I said there are other young talents who can take over from," Asamoah told the Ghana FA Newspaper.

"If they work hard and listen to the instructions of the coach, I think they can also do better for the club."

Kotoko have a seven point lead at the top and will play Wa All Stars at home this Sunday.
