New Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic is determined to get Chelsea ace Michael Essien into his fold as soon as possible.
The Serbian is expected to head for Stamford Bridge and convince the midfielder of making a quick return.
"I have not said anything but I am still going to come back. Once I am fit and confident I will always come back," Stevanovic told Kickoffghana.com
Essien who took a temporary break from international duties last year is yet to state his exact return date.
It has been speculated that he will be available for next month's high profile friendly against England at Wembley.
Stevanovic held talks with Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari before his 4-1 win over Togo last month in an exhibition match played in Antwerp, Belgium early this month.
